woodBOWLS

This section contains a sampling of wooden bowls created in the past several years.  I intend to rotate examples of my work over time,
probably on a monthly basis.  I've decided on this format instead of the "slide show" format because it gives me more control over the
content.  The majority of wood I turn has been harvested from the forest, cut into turning blocks and seasoned for 2 or 3 years before it
is turned - sometimes more, sometimes less.  The finish I apply to this type of work has varied over the years, but typically I'll apply
linseed oil or tung oil, then a few coats of varnish or polyurethane, and finish it by buffing with waxes and polish.  Most of my work is for
sale, although some bowls exhibited here have already been sold.  Inquiries about the price or availability should be directed to the
email link in the upper right corner.
